VISIT THE FLY SHOP – NOVEMBER 21ST
Flies for the Farmington at Attractive Prices
The First Congregational Church of Farmington is hosting a Christmas Fair following the Danbury show and right before Thanksgiving on Saturday, Nov. 21st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Church members who tie will be offering small selections of flies as gifts or stocking stuffers at attractive prices. Think Hendricksons, sulfurs, isos, olives, caddis and more. Also nymphs, emergers, streamers, spinners and dry flies including a lot of sparkleduns and comparaduns. Maybe even a woolly bugger or two. Possibly even a few steelhead flies.
The fair will be held in Amistad Hall on Main Street in Farmington, across from Miss Porter’s and the Fire Station. Parking will be available behind the church and the Barney Library via Church Street which is just south of the church itself.
Admission is free, and all proceeds will benefit First Church, so bring a spouse who will enjoy browsing the many other Christmas items and could even purchase some thoughtful and practical stocking stuffers for you. Questions? Call Bill at 860-678-7245.
